Statement of Intellectual Property Respect
TheBhom (https://www.thebhom.in) respects the intellectual property rights of original creators, technology manufacturers, software developers, technical journalists, and copyright holders worldwide. We operate in strict adherence to the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 (17 U.S.C. § 512, "DMCA"), the Indian Copyright Act, 1957 (as amended), and the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021.
1. Editorial Scope & Origin of Platform Content
TheBhom is an independent digital publication producing original technology buying guides, processor architecture analyses, display technology comparisons, and curated e-commerce deals. Our content creation process follows established ethical standards:
- Original Written Works: All technical guides, benchmark summaries, buying checklists, and editorial critiques are researched and authored in-house by our technology writers and contributing analysts.
- No Piracy or Unauthorized Redistribution: TheBhom does not host, upload, distribute, or index cracked software, unauthorized application packages (APKs), leaked firmware binaries, or unlicensed digital media.
- Curated Outbound Links: All deals, special pricing promotions, and gadget listings published on our deals desk direct users straight to verified, licensed third-party e-commerce platforms (such as Amazon India, Flipkart, Croma, and Reliance Digital). TheBhom operates as an informational directory and does not host or mirror merchant catalogs.
2. Fair Dealing & Fair Use Doctrine
In the course of technical journalism, product reviews, and consumer guidance, TheBhom may make limited, transformative reference to third-party copyright-protected assets under the legal doctrines of:
- Fair Dealing (Section 52 of the Indian Copyright Act, 1957): Reproduction and excerpting of material for the express purposes of private research, criticism, review of works, and reporting of current technology events.
- Fair Use (Section 107 of the United States Copyright Act, 17 U.S.C. § 107): Transformative utilization of small excerpts, technical spec sheets, and official press kit product renders for educational commentary, comparative hardware criticism, and public interest tech literacy.
Where product renders or promotional imagery are utilized, they are sourced from publicly distributed OEM press kits or credited to their respective manufacturers. Such usage is transformative, non-substitutional, and does not compete with or diminish the primary commercial market of the original rights holders.
3. Designated Copyright & Grievance Officer
